Luxury Hair Extensions

We’re excited to offer you the newest trend in hair extensions! Our stylists have several Master certifications with several of the leading brands in Luxury hair . Our most popular method is Hand-tied/machine-tied Sew-ins. This is the most seamless method that requires no glue, no tape, no heat. We also offer K-tips. and I-tips which have 360 mobility. Here are the deets!

How to

Extension Care 101

1. Do not wash your hair for 24-48 hours after installation.

Use only sulfate free shampoo & conditioner. When shampooing, do not scrub excessively. Always shampoo with your head straight back – never flipped over or face down. Recommended products are: Oi Shampoo, Oi Conditioner, and Oi Butter 1x week.

2. Never dry with a scrubbing motion.

Always dry the top of wefts to prevent breakdown and mold. Brush 2x daily. Separate each row and brush in a downward motion. Hair extensions are attached to small amounts of your own hair. While hair extensions are not damaging to your hair, poor care and aggressive handling will pull your hair and cause damage. Avoid the root area of hair with heavy products. Use a detangler and always brush hair a few times a day. Recommended products are: Oi Milk, Oi Oil or Almond Oil, and Melu Shield for heat protection.

3.Never go to bed with wet hair.

In a low braid or high pony/bun. Sleep on a silk or satin pillow case. Only use a Wetbrush. Brush from the ends and work your way up. When swimming, coat your hair in conditioner (leave in spray is fine too) and wear in low braid or high pony to keep from matting or getting wet.

4.Never cut, remove, color, perm or use any other chemicals on your extensions.

If another stylist performs any service on you while wearing extensions, neither stylist is liable for any damages.

5.Dry the wefts immediately after activities taking place in a constant wet or damp environment.

These could include: aerobics, working out, steam baths, saunas, pools, beach, etc. Dry the top of the wefts as soon as possible. Before exposure to sea/lake/pool water, wet hair completely in the shower. Then, apply conditioner to the ends. Afterwards, be sure to shampoo and condition hair, then blow dry the wefts to prevent breakdown/mold. Some extension loss and shedding is normal.

6.Expect average hair loss of 50-100 strands per day.

You can expect to see a small quantity of naturally released hairs trapped in the attachments after some time. This is normal and should not be interpreted as hairs pulled from the scalp by the extensions themselves. Daily brushing (with Wet Brush) close to the scalp and finger separation will avoid matting in this area.

Risks Involved

WITH ANY CHEMICAL SERVICE, THERE ARE RISKS INVOLVED. ▪ Genetics, medications, hormones and your overall health All of the above play a role in making up your chemical make up, including your hair. Everyone's hair reacts differently. What may work for one person, may not work well for you due to the differences in how your body is built to react. ▪ Previous chemical services – professional or at home Whether lightened or darkened by a box or professional, or permed or relaxed, all of these services present their own risk. Even if a color is faded, it is still present in your hair until it is cut off. ▪ Well water, hard water, and copper pipes – heat reactions Mineral deposits from water and pipes can build up in your hair and cause a reaction with hydrogen peroxide, powder lightners, color removers, and oxidative color. The reactions are UNPREDICTABLE and can happen after multiple times of using the same product. It is unsure how deposits are going to react, and many do not even know they have them built up in their hair. Using the exact same products for years, then one day having a chemical reaction is similar to developing an allergy to something we have been already using our entire lives. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE WHEN PERFORMING A CHEMICAL SERVICE. I do my absolute best to proceed with caution when preforming chemical services. Healthy hair and honest communication are my number one priorities. I would not be doing my job if I did not present these risks to you ahead of time. The more I do your hair, and know the products on your hair, the better predictions I can make as I learn and understand your hair better.

Home Hair Care

Your hair is an investment and I want it to last as long as possible. The importance of home care is often overlooked, but is essential when recreating your style, as well as maintaining and protecting your color/extensions. The products and procedures that best suit your hair cut/style/color/extensions will be shown to you on the day of your appointment. I can only guarantee my color/extensions services when proper at home care is followed and accompanied by professional shampoo and conditioners. A failure to follow proper at home care can result in color fading, damage, and reduce the life of the extensions.

Cancellation Policy

I understand emergencies sometimes come up and you may have to cancel or reschedule your appointment. I kindly request the respect of both my time and the time of others by providing a minimum 24 hour notice of any changes. If for any reason you are expecting to be late by 15 minutes or more to your scheduled appointment, please call ASAP. Anything beyond 15 minutes will be considered a no-show will result in your appointment being cancelled.

I understand emergencies sometimes come up and you may have to cancel or reschedule your appointment. I kindly request the respect of both my time and the time of others by providing a minimum 24 hour notice of any changes. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service to the card on file. If for any reason you are expecting to be late by 10 minutes or more to your scheduled appointment, please call ASAP. Anything beyond 15 minutes may be considered a no-show and subject to a fee of 100% of the scheduled service. I work very hard to schedule the right amount of time for each service. Accommodating late guests is often impossible without disrupting other appointments scheduled that day. Please be aware that in the unfortunate event you are 15+ minutes late, I cannot guarantee that your services will be performed that day or performed in full. Tardiness may require rescheduling your appointment for another day and subject to a no-show fee.
